God of Comfort

06 Oct God of Comfort

We live in a world that often seems void of compassion and comfort.  There are many struggles and trials that we go through and it seems like there is nobody who cares.  The good news is that God cares.  2nd Corinthians 1:3 tells us that we serve a God of compassion and all comfort.  I love that the word all is put in there. All means that any type of comfort we need God can and will give it to us. The definition of comfort means easing or alleviating a person’s feelings of grief or distress.  God wants to alleviate and ease our burdens.  He never meant for us to carry them alone. God knows the type of comfort that we need and He is there waiting with open arms to offer us comfort.  Will you accept his compassion and comfort today?
